📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the green building certification process for projects targeting IGBC, GRIHA, or LEED rating systems.
• Conduct energy modelling and daylight analysis to evaluate building performance against green rating benchmarks.
• Advise the design team on passive design strategies including building orientation, shading, natural ventilation, and insulation.
• Prepare IGBC or GRIHA documentation including credit narratives, calculation reports, and supporting drawings.
• Specify green and low-embodied-carbon materials for walls, roofing, glazing, and finishes in line with rating criteria.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants on energy-efficient HVAC, lighting, and plumbing system design for green credits.
• Engage with IGBC or GRIHA auditors during design review and construction stage assessments for the project.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Arch from a COA-recognized institution with valid IGBC AP or GRIHA evaluator certification.
• 1 to 5 years of experience at a private architecture firm with hands-on involvement in green building projects.
• Knowledge of IGBC New Buildings, IGBC Green Homes, GRIHA, and LEED rating system credit requirements.
• Experience with energy modelling tools such as eQUEST, OpenStudio, or IES VE for building performance analysis.
• Understanding of passive solar design, natural ventilation, shading design, and building envelope performance.
• Ability to prepare green building documentation including credit submissions, calculations, and supporting evidence.
• Knowledge of low-carbon and locally sourced building materials appropriate for Coimbatore's climate.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
