📌 Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during clinical examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and IV fluids under veterinary supervision
- Collect blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples from animals
- Monitor patient vitals in the ward and report changes to the vet
- Prepare and sterilise surgical instruments and examination equipment
- Maintain clinical records and update patient treatment sheets
- Support animal restraint during radiography, grooming, and dental procedures
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Para-Veterinary Diploma (D.V.L.S.) or equivalent certificate from a recognised institution
- Hands-on experience or internship in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility
- Basic knowledge of common small animal diseases and treatment protocols
- Ability to handle and restrain dogs, cats, and small animals safely
- Familiarity with basic clinical procedures including IV setup and wound care
- Good communication skills to interact with pet owners calmly
- Willingness to work in shift rosters including weekends and public holidays
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

BVSc. and AH with VCI registration for veterinary surgeon roles; Para-Veterinary qualification (D.V.L.S. or B.V.Sc.
