📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse floor operations across assigned shifts including inbound, outbound, storage, and value-added services activities
• Manage warehouse floor staff including helpers, pickers, packers, and forklift operators for shift attendance, task assignment, and productivity
• Monitor shift-level KPIs covering throughput, order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and pick-pack productivity and take corrective action on shortfalls
• Enforce warehouse safety protocols including PPE usage, forklift zone compliance, fire exit accessibility, and incident reporting procedures
• Conduct shift handover briefings to ensure continuity of operations and clear communication of pending tasks, exceptions, and client priorities
• Coordinate with the inventory control team to resolve stock discrepancies found during the shift and ensure timely WMS corrections
• Manage labour deployment during peak period surges by coordinating with the HR and operations manager for manpower planning
• Prepare daily shift reports covering volumes processed, exceptions handled, near-miss incidents, and housekeeping compliance for the warehouse manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree from a recognized institution
• 2 - 6 Years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
• Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse floor teams of 10 to 30 people across shift operations in a 3PL or manufacturing warehouse
• Working knowledge of WMS operations, inbound and outbound workflows, and warehouse safety standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills for managing diverse warehouse floor teams in Tamil and English
• Familiarity with warehouse KPIs including throughput, accuracy, dock-to-stock, and pick-pack productivity measurement
• Ability to handle client escalations, vendor delivery issues, and operational exceptions calmly and with structured problem-solving
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
