- Implement data models and optimize database queries for high-throughput financial transaction systems
- Develop background jobs for settlement reconciliation, interest calculation, and notification dispatch
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Debug production incidents in payment and lending systems and implement hotfixes with minimal downtime
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics from a recognized institution
- 1 - 5 Years of backend development experience with Java or Python in a product or fintech environment
- Strong command of microservices architecture, REST API design, and Spring Boot or FastAPI frameworks
- Experience with payment gateway integration, UPI APIs, or financial transaction system development
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent relational databases
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services for deploying and scaling fintech backend services
- Understanding of PCI DSS, data encryption, and secure coding practices for financial applications
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
