📌 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate credit scoring models for personal loans, BNPL, and digital credit products
- Analyze bureau data, alternate data sources, and application attributes to build PD and LGD models
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics including delinquency rates, NPA levels, and vintage analysis
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis on the lending portfolio under adverse economic conditions
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy credit scorecards in the loan origination system
- Prepare monthly credit risk dashboards and portfolio health reports for risk management committees
- Research and incorporate new data signals such as mobile behavior, utility payments, and GST data into credit models
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBA in Finance, B.E./B.Tech in CS or Statistics, or equivalent quantitative degree from a recognized institution
- 1 - 5 Years of experience in credit risk analytics, scorecard development, or lending operations in fintech or NBFC
- Strong knowledge of credit scoring concepts, PD modelling, and statistical model validation
- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and model development workflows
- Hands-on experience with credit bureau data from CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, or CRIF
- Good understanding of RBI NPA classification, NBFC lending norms, and digital credit regulations
- SQL skills for portfolio data extraction and monitoring query development
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
