📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and beers to hotel bar guests.
• Set up the bar station daily with accurate mise en place including garnishes, syrups, juices, and bar tools.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the hotel's beverage menu, seasonal cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings.
• Manage bar inventory, par stock levels, and daily requisitions to ensure uninterrupted bar operations.
• Interact with bar guests, offer recommendations, and upsell premium spirits and signature cocktail creations.
• Maintain bar hygiene, equipment cleanliness, and compliance with FSSAI food safety standards.
• Process bar bills through POS system and handle guest payments accurately at the bar counter.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Hotel Management (F&B/Food Production) from an IHM-affiliated or recognised institute.
• WSET Level 2 or 3 certification or equivalent mixology training from a recognised beverage school.
• 1 to 5 years of bartending experience in a hotel bar, lounge, or fine dining restaurant.
• Practical skills in classic cocktail recipes, flair techniques, and contemporary mixology presentations.
• Knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverage categories relevant to hotel bar menus.
• Good English communication and guest interaction skills for an upscale hotel bar environment.
• Understanding of Tamil Nadu excise regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
