📌 Key Responsibilities

• Arrange airport transfers, taxi services, car rentals, and transportation for hotel guests promptly and accurately.
• Handle luggage storage, bell service, and guest baggage assistance during arrival and departure.
• Respond to guest queries about Chennai's city map, shopping zones, medical facilities, and cultural destinations.
• Coordinate theatre tickets, event bookings, tour packages, and special outing arrangements for guests.
• Maintain an up-to-date resource file of local contacts, service providers, and emergency numbers for guest assistance.
• Support the front desk with check-in and check-out during peak hours and manage lobby guest flow.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Hotel Management degree from an IHM-affiliated or recognised institute; additional language skills are an advantage.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in concierge, front office, or guest services in a private hotel.
• In-depth knowledge of Chennai's tourist attractions, shopping areas, medical facilities, and transport network.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with domestic and international guests.
• Familiarity with online booking platforms, transport coordination, and local service vendors in Chennai.
• Professional appearance and warm, proactive attitude consistent with the hotel's guest service philosophy.
• IATA certification or travel-related training is an advantage for concierge roles in Chennai business hotels.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
