📌 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all non-sales functions of the insurance branch including policy servicing, claims, and customer service
• Ensure branch compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal audit requirements, and operational SOPs
• Lead and manage a team of 10-25 operations, servicing, and customer service staff
• Monitor SLA adherence for policy issuance, claims processing, and customer query resolution
• Prepare and present monthly branch operational performance reports to regional management
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
• Implement process improvements to reduce TAT, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce operational errors

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA or any graduate with 7-13 years of insurance operations experience including 2+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations: policy servicing, cashless claims, and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing multi-function branch teams with accountability for SLA and quality
• Familiarity with IRDAI operational regulations, policyholder protection guidelines, and grievance norms
• Good analytical skills for branch performance monitoring and root cause analysis
• Strong people management and conflict resolution skills
• Process-driven mindset with experience implementing operational improvements
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
