📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide step-down critical care nursing for patients discharged from ICU to home monitoring
• Manage tracheostomy care including suctioning, inner cannula cleaning, and tube change assistance
• Monitor cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and haemodynamic parameters using portable monitoring equipment
• Manage arterial line care, central venous catheter maintenance, and infusion pump operation at home
• Administer advanced medications including inotropes, sedatives, and analgesics as per ICU step-down orders
• Support ventilator weaning programmes for home-ventilated patients in coordination with the pulmonologist
• Educate family members on emergency responses, alarm management, and escalation contacts
• Document all ICU-level clinical parameters after each home visit and report to the supervising physician

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have at least three years of hands-on ICU or critical care nursing experience?
• Have you managed tracheostomy care and suctioning in a clinical or home setting?
• Are you experienced in cardiac monitoring and interpreting basic ECG changes?
• Can you manage arterial lines, central venous catheters, and infusion pumps at a patient's home?
• Have you supported ventilator weaning programmes for critical care patients?
• Are you trained in advanced medication administration including inotropes and sedatives?
• Can you train family members on alarm management and emergency escalation?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
