📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and teach Units of Inquiry aligned with the IB PYP curriculum for grades 1 to 5
• Use concept-based and transdisciplinary approaches to integrate learning across subject areas
• Maintain and update student portfolios and conduct student-led conferences
• Plan differentiated lessons to support learners across a range of abilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with subject specialists, co-teachers, and the PYP coordinator
• Assess student progress using formative and summative tools aligned with IB standards
• Participate in curriculum review meetings, PYP workshops, and whole-school professional development

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Ed. with at least one year of IB PYP or Cambridge Primary teaching experience
• Confident delivery of transdisciplinary units across English, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Proficiency in designing Units of Inquiry from concept to summative assessment
• Familiarity with student-led conferences and portfolio-based evidence of learning
• Strong written English for parent communication and report writing
• Completion of or willingness to complete IB Category 1 or 2 PYP workshop
• Comfortable working in a collaborative planning team with other primary teachers
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
