📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set up restaurant tables with linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments to the hotel's mise en place standards.
• Greet guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, following the correct sequence of service protocols.
• Handle POS billing terminals to enter orders, generate bills, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the restaurant menu, daily specials, allergens, and beverage pairings.
• Clear and reset tables after each cover, ensuring the dining area is clean and ready for the next guest.
• Upsell desserts, beverages, and premium menu items to enhance per-cover revenue for the hotel restaurant.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 12th pass; Diploma in Hotel Management (F&B Service) from an IHM-affiliated institute preferred.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in restaurant or hotel F&B service; freshers from hotel management institutes welcome.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques including silver service, platter service, and tray carrying.
• Basic menu knowledge including common continental, Indian, and Chinese dishes and standard beverage options.
• Neat appearance, pleasant personality, and ability to interact courteously with hotel guests.
• Basic English and Tamil communication skills for taking orders and addressing guest queries.
• Willingness to work split shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and holiday periods as required by hotel operations.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
