📌 Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of School in providing overall academic and operational leadership for the school
• Oversee day-to-day school operations including timetabling, discipline, staff attendance, and parent communications
• Lead academic quality reviews, data analysis sessions, and whole-school improvement planning
• Manage pastoral care frameworks and student wellbeing programmes across all year groups
• Act as the Head of School in their absence and represent the school at external events and meetings
• Lead recruitment, induction, and performance management processes for teaching and non-teaching staff
• Drive implementation of school improvement plans and report progress to governance and leadership bodies

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Ed. or equivalent postgraduate qualification in education leadership
• Minimum ten years of teaching experience with at least five years in school middle or senior leadership
• Demonstrated track record of leading whole-school improvement initiatives in an international curriculum environment
• Strong knowledge of IB or Cambridge programme requirements and international school accreditation standards
• Exceptional people management skills for leading diverse, multinational teaching teams
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate educational vision into operational practice
• Excellent communication with parents, staff, and school governance bodies across cultural contexts
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
