📌 Key Responsibilities

• Process new savings, current, and salary account opening requests from walk-in customers at the branch.
• Verify KYC documents including identity proof, address proof, and PAN card as per bank and RBI guidelines.
• Enter customer information accurately in the core banking system and generate customer IDs and account numbers.
• Ensure compliance with PMLA, KYC master directions, and AML screening norms for all new accounts.
• Issue welcome kits, debit cards, and internet banking credentials to newly onboarded customers.
• Handle customer queries related to account features, product details, and service charges.
• Maintain account opening registers and files for branch audit and regulatory inspection purposes.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any stream from a recognised university.
• Zero to two years of experience in bank account opening, KYC processing, or banking compliance.
• Strong knowledge of KYC and AML norms as per RBI and PMLA guidelines.
• Accuracy in document verification and data entry in core banking systems.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for customer onboarding interactions.
• Familiarity with negative list screening and politically exposed persons (PEP) classification.
• Freshers with a banking or commerce background and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
