📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all functions of a small private bank branch including retail banking, operations, and customer service.
• Drive CASA growth, fixed deposit mobilisation, and credit portfolio growth to achieve branch profitability targets.
• Supervise branch staff including relationship managers, tellers, and operations executives for performance and compliance.
• Ensure branch operational compliance with RBI guidelines, audit requirements, and internal bank policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key retail and business customers in the branch catchment area.
• Review and approve credit proposals within delegated authority and coordinate with central credit for larger cases.
• Prepare monthly business review reports and present branch performance to the regional manager.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or MBA from a recognised university.
• Five to twelve years of banking experience with at least two years in branch management or as deputy branch manager.
• Proven track record of achieving CASA, deposit, and credit targets at a bank branch.
• Strong leadership and team management skills for supervising a branch team of five to fifteen staff.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, credit appraisal, and compliance requirements.
• Good business development skills and community relationship-building ability.
• Familiarity with core banking systems and regulatory reporting requirements at branch level.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
