📌 Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate large language model responses for accuracy, helpfulness, safety, harmlessness, and honesty
• Create and curate preference ranking datasets comparing model outputs for reinforcement learning from human feedback
• Write diverse, high-quality prompts spanning multiple domains to test and improve model instruction following
• Document evaluation rationale in structured formats to support model training data quality
• Identify systematic failure modes, biases, and safety issues in model responses
• Collaborate with ML researchers and policy teams to refine evaluation guidelines and rubrics
• Contribute to red-teaming exercises to uncover undesired model behaviours

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or M.Sc. in any field with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong English language writing and comprehension skills with the ability to assess nuance and quality
• Familiarity with large language models and experience interacting with AI chat products
• Understanding of basic AI safety concepts including harmlessness, honesty, and factuality
• Ability to follow detailed evaluation rubrics and maintain consistency across many assessments
• Keen attention to detail and critical reasoning skills for identifying subtle model errors
• Interest in AI alignment, responsible AI, or human-computer interaction is a strong advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
