📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise dentoalveolar surgeries, impaction surgeries, and minor oral surgical procedures
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students surgical techniques, pre- and post-operative care
• Manage surgical emergencies and trauma cases presenting to the college hospital
• Supervise student-performed minor surgical procedures in the clinical posting sessions
• Conduct lectures, seminars, and case presentations on oral and maxillofacial surgical topics
• Maintain accurate surgical records including operation notes and consent documentation
• Participate in research, publish in indexed journals, and guide MDS dissertation students

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a DCI-recognised institution
• DCI registration and assistant professor eligibility as per DCI norms
• 3 to 8 years of post-MDS surgical and teaching experience
• Proficiency in dentoalveolar surgery and minor OMS procedures
• Experience in student supervision in a clinical theatre or surgical OPD setting
• Research publications or conference presentations in oral surgery preferred
• Good surgical judgment and ability to handle intraoperative and post-operative complications
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
