📌 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and conduct clinical sessions for BDS and MDS students in oral medicine and radiology
• Interpret dental radiographs, panoramic OPGs, and CBCT scans for student cases and clinical patients
• Diagnose and manage oral mucosal lesions, ulcers, and systemic disease manifestations in the oral cavity
• Supervise student-led case workups and provide academic feedback
• Maintain clinical records and documentation as per DCI and institutional standards
• Conduct and publish research in oral medicine, oral radiology, or oral pathology
• Participate in departmental planning, academic committees, and examination duties

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology from a DCI-recognised institution
• DCI registration and assistant professor eligibility as per DCI norms
• 3 to 8 years of post-MDS teaching and clinical experience
• Competence in radiographic interpretation including CBCT
• Experience in student supervision and university examination duties
• Research publications in peer-reviewed dental journals preferred
• Good diagnostic and communication skills for patient-facing clinical work
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
