📌 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and clinical training to BDS and MDS students in orthodontic theory and practice
• Supervise students in the orthodontic clinical posting, including case assessment, appliance placement, and activation
• Perform and oversee comprehensive orthodontic treatment including fixed and removable appliances
• Conduct cephalometric analysis sessions and teach orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
• Guide MDS orthodontic dissertation research and supervise case report preparation
• Participate in departmental academic activities, internal examinations, and university exam duties
• Publish research in peer-reviewed orthodontic or dental journals and attend academic conferences

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from a DCI-recognised institution
• DCI registration and assistant professor eligibility as per DCI norms
• 3 to 8 years of post-MDS orthodontic clinical and teaching experience
• Proficiency in fixed appliance therapy and cephalometric analysis
• Experience supervising students in orthodontic clinical postings
• Research publication record in orthodontic or dental journals preferred
• Familiarity with digital orthodontic tools and clear aligner concepts is an advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
