📌 Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in managing all store operations including floor, inventory, and staff
• Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures and safety checks
• Coordinate across all departments to ensure consistent service standards and shelf availability
• Handle senior customer escalations and resolve complex complaints beyond department head authority
• Monitor daily and weekly sales KPIs and alert department heads on performance gaps
• Manage staff performance, attendance, and conduct issues in coordination with the HR team
• Step in as acting Store Manager during periods of manager absence or leave

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Retail Management or Operations is preferred
• Three to eight years of retail store experience with at least two years in a department head or supervisory role
• Demonstrated capability in multi-department store operations management
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills for managing large frontline teams
• Commercial understanding of store-level P&L, sales targets, and shrinkage control
• Proficiency in retail ERP for store-level reporting and inventory oversight
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and manage extended hours during peak seasons
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
