📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of flagship client accounts at the most senior counselling level, providing strategic communications advice directly to CMO and CEO stakeholders
• Own P and L accountability for assigned client revenue lines and business units within the agency, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met
• Drive new business development by leading pitches, identifying prospects, developing proposal strategies, and converting major new client mandates
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of account managers, PR managers, and specialists across the agency's client portfolio
• Develop the agency's service offering in specialist areas such as crisis communications, digital PR, executive communications, or sector-specific PR programmes
• Represent the agency at industry conferences, thought leadership forums, and media events to build brand authority and business development opportunities
• Collaborate with agency founders and directors on strategic planning, talent development, and the overall competitive positioning of the agency in Coimbatore's PR market

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 8 to 16 years of progressive PR agency career growth with at least 4 to 5 years in a senior management role overseeing teams and major client accounts
• Demonstrated track record of managing P and L responsibility for a significant client revenue base or business unit within a PR agency
• Senior client management experience with CMO, VP Communications, or CEO-level stakeholders at large private sector organisations
• Proven new business development capability with experience leading competitive pitches and converting major PR agency mandates
• Strong team leadership with a track record of developing and retaining PR talent at account manager, specialist, and manager levels
• MBA or Graduate degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or any related discipline; strong industry reputation and client relationships are the primary evaluation criteria
• Deep expertise in at least two or three PR specialisations such as corporate communications, consumer PR, crisis management, digital PR, or internal communications
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
