📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set the overall strategic direction, service vision, and competitive positioning of the PR and communications agency within Coimbatore's private sector market
• Own the agency's full P and L including revenue growth, cost management, profitability, and investment in new capabilities and talent
• Maintain and grow the highest-value client relationships personally, providing board-level communications counsel and strategic guidance to senior client leadership
• Lead the agency's new business development strategy including prospect identification, proposal development, pitch leadership, and mandate conversion
• Build and sustain the agency's leadership team and organisational culture, ensuring talent attraction, development, and retention across all functions
• Define the agency's service portfolio evolution, entering new specialisations such as digital PR, crisis management, internal communications, or influencer marketing
• Represent the agency in industry bodies, media forums, and public platforms to build the brand's market profile, attract talent, and generate business referrals

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12 to 25 years of progressive career growth in PR, communications, or related fields with direct agency leadership or entrepreneurial experience
• Demonstrated track record of building, scaling, or leading a PR agency or significant communications practice with a substantial client portfolio
• Established senior client relationships with CMO, Group CEO, and Board-level stakeholders at major private sector organisations across relevant industry verticals
• Strong business acumen with experience owning full P and L accountability, managing agency cost structures, and driving sustainable revenue growth
• Proven ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing communications teams across PR, content, digital, and client management functions
• MBA from a recognised institution or graduate degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Marketing combined with a distinguished industry career trajectory
• Industry recognition through awards, speaking platforms, published thought leadership, or board membership in communications professional bodies is a significant advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
