📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D civil, architectural, and structural drawings using AutoCAD as per design instructions from engineers and architects
• Draft floor plans, elevation drawings, section drawings, and construction detail drawings for residential and commercial projects
• Produce reinforcement layout drawings, foundation detail drawings, and structural member details from engineer sketches
• Manage drawing revisions, drawing registers, and issue logs for all project drawings
• Coordinate with project engineers and architects for drawing clarifications and revision instructions
• Set up drawing sheets, plot configurations, and print layouts for drawing submissions and site issue sets
• Assist in preparing as-built drawing documentation at project completion stages

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a drafting certificate from a recognised institution; graduates with AutoCAD certification are also considered
• 0-3 years of drafting experience in a construction company, architectural firm, or structural design consultancy
• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for civil and architectural drawing preparation with clean, accurate drafting output
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D modelling for basic volumetric representation and 3D coordination drawings is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and construction detail sheets accurately
• Familiarity with drawing standards, title block formats, and sheet number conventions used in construction projects
• Good speed and accuracy in producing large volumes of drawing revisions under project deadline pressure
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
