📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, furniture layouts, and interior elevations as directed.
• Draft reflected ceiling plans showing light fixture positions, AC diffuser layouts, and ceiling design elements.
• Produce working drawings for joinery items including wardrobes, kitchen units, TV units, and wall panelling.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes from senior designers and site measurement updates.
• Maintain organized drawing registers with version control and issue sheets for all active projects.
• Coordinate with 3D visualizers by supplying accurate AutoCAD plans and elevations for model development.
• Print, plot, and issue drawing sets to site supervisors and subcontractors as per project requirements.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering with strong AutoCAD 2D drafting skills.
• 0 to 3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience in an interior design or architectural firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD layer management, dimension standards, and drawing sheet layout preparation.
• Ability to read and understand interior design intent drawings and convert them into precise working drawings.
• Familiarity with standard interior drawing types including plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details.
• Speed and accuracy in drafting are critical as firms require rapid turnaround on drawing revisions.
• Basic knowledge of interior material specifications is an advantage for interpreting design briefs correctly.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
