📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript covering regression, smoke, and sanity test coverage.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to enable shift-left quality practices.
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured or Postman Newman to validate backend service contracts.
• Analyse test execution reports, investigate failures, and distinguish genuine product defects from environment or flaky test issues.
• Collaborate with developers during feature development to create testable designs and define acceptance criteria for automation coverage.
• Maintain test data management strategies and ensure test environments remain stable and reproducible for consistent automation runs.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with one to five years of test automation experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and at least one modern framework: Cypress or Playwright.
• Ability to write automation scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript with a good understanding of OOP principles.
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured, Postman Newman, or equivalent tools.
• Exposure to integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and interpreting pipeline test results.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and the ability to write Gherkin feature files.
• Understanding of test design techniques including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and pairwise testing.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
