📌 Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the company's technology vision, platform strategy, and multi-year technical architecture roadmap.
• Build and maintain technology differentiation that supports the company's competitive positioning in its product market.
• Partner with the CEO and board to communicate technology strategy, engineering investment rationale, and innovation milestones.
• Lead the engineering organisation in close partnership with the VP Engineering, setting culture, standards, and leadership development priorities.
• Evaluate and make strategic decisions on technology stack, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, AI integration, and build-versus-partner choices.
• Represent the company's technology capabilities to enterprise customers, partners, investors, and the broader developer community.
• Drive the company's intellectual property strategy including patent opportunities, open-source contributions, and proprietary platform moat development.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./M.Tech in CS/IT or MBA/Ph.D. with eighteen to thirty years of technology career experience including significant senior engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling technology platforms that have achieved product-market fit and sustained commercial growth.
• Deep architectural expertise combined with the strategic acumen to align technology decisions with business models and competitive positioning.
• Experience leading engineering organisations of fifty or more engineers and managing a senior leadership team of directors and VPs.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technology strategy to non-technical stakeholders including investors, board members, and enterprise customers.
• Track record of identifying and operationalising emerging technology opportunities such as AI/ML integration, cloud-native architecture, or platform ecosystem development.
• Strong external presence: ability to represent the company's technology at industry events, customer advisory boards, and recruiting contexts.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
