📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage full P and L responsibility for the jewellery showroom branch including sales, cost, and margin targets
• Set and drive daily, monthly, and annual sales targets across gold, diamond, silver, and platinum categories
• Recruit, train, and manage showroom staff including sales executives, supervisors, and support teams
• Oversee gold and diamond stock management including purchase planning, audit, and security compliance
• Ensure exceptional customer experience standards are maintained across all customer touchpoints
• Coordinate with the purchase and head office teams on new stock additions and collection planning
• Manage all regulatory compliance requirements including BIS hallmarking, GST, and shop establishment norms

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Retail Management or equivalent is preferred
• Five to twelve years of jewellery showroom experience with at least three years in a management role
• Demonstrated track record of achieving showroom P and L targets in a jewellery retail environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills for managing a team of fifteen or more showroom staff
• Deep knowledge of gold, diamond, and jewellery products, pricing, and market trends
• Familiarity with BIS hallmarking compliance, GST on jewellery, and shop establishment requirements
• Strong communication skills in Tamil and English for customer, staff, and corporate stakeholder management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Graduate or 12th pass for retail sales and customer service roles; BHM or Diploma in Retail Management for showroom operations; GIA Graduate Gemologist or GIA Diamonds certificate for diamond grading roles; Hallmarking awareness and BIS guidelines for quality and assurance roles; Tally for accounts roles in jewellery business; ITI Goldsmithing trade certificate for karigar/goldsmith roles; knowledge of 22-karat, 18-karat, and 916 hallmark standards for all floor staff; familiarity with TN VAT, GST on gold, and making charges for billing roles
