📌 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all non-sales functions of the insurance branch including policy servicing, claims, and customer service
- Ensure branch compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal audit requirements, and operational SOPs
- Lead and manage a team of 10-25 operations, servicing, and customer service staff
- Monitor SLA adherence for policy issuance, claims processing, and customer query resolution
- Prepare and present monthly branch operational performance reports to regional management
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Implement process improvements to reduce TAT, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce operational errors
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBA or any graduate with 7-13 years of insurance operations experience including 2+ years in management
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations: policy servicing, cashless claims, and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing multi-function branch teams with accountability for SLA and quality
- Familiarity with IRDAI operational regulations, policyholder protection guidelines, and grievance norms
- Good analytical skills for branch performance monitoring and root cause analysis
- Strong people management and conflict resolution skills
- Process-driven mindset with experience implementing operational improvements
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
