📌 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver chest physiotherapy including percussion, vibration, postural drainage, and assisted coughing to patients with pulmonary conditions
• Design and supervise cardiac rehabilitation programmes for post-CABG, post-MI, and cardiac surgery patients in outpatient clinic settings
• Conduct exercise tolerance assessments using six-minute walk tests and standardised dyspnoea scales
• Teach and supervise incentive spirometry, diaphragmatic breathing, and pursed lip breathing techniques
• Manage patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, and interstitial lung disease through structured pulmonary rehabilitation programmes
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and patient response during exercise rehabilitation sessions
• Collaborate with cardiologists and pulmonologists and provide written progress reports at review intervals

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Describe your chest physiotherapy protocol for a post-operative patient with atelectasis.
• How do you conduct a six-minute walk test and what do you do with the results?
• What experience do you have running outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programmes?
• How do you monitor patient safety during exercise sessions in a pulmonary rehab programme?
• Describe your approach to managing a patient with severe COPD in an outpatient setting.
• What breathing techniques do you teach to post-cardiac surgery patients in the early phase?
• How do you communicate a patient's progress to the referring cardiologist or pulmonologist?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) with MCI/state council registration for physiotherapist roles; MPT in the relevant specialty (Orthopaedics, Neurology, Sports, Paediatrics, Cardiopulmonary) for specialist roles; BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy) for OT roles; B.Sc.
