📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security architectures on AWS and/or Azure ensuring alignment with CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, and client security policies.
• Configure and manage cloud-native security services including AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Azure Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel for continuous monitoring.
• Deploy and operate Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Prisma Cloud or Wiz to identify misconfiguration and compliance drift across cloud accounts.
• Implement cloud IAM governance including least-privilege access design, service account management, role boundary policies, and privileged identity controls.
• Assess and harden containerised workloads on Kubernetes, reviewing pod security policies, network policies, RBAC, and container image scanning pipelines.
• Review Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) for security misconfigurations before deployment using SAST and policy-as-code tools.
• Produce cloud security assessments, gap analysis reports, and remediation roadmaps for clients migrating workloads to or operating on cloud platforms.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with two to seven years of combined cloud and security experience.
• AWS Certified Security Specialty or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification strongly preferred for cloud security roles.
• Hands-on experience securing workloads on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM, VPC/VNET, encryption, and logging configuration.
• Familiarity with CSPM and Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) solutions such as Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Lacework, or Defender for Cloud.
• Understanding of container orchestration security including Kubernetes RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and image vulnerability scanning.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks applicable to cloud environments including CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS cloud controls.
• Ability to review and contribute to Infrastructure as Code templates from a security perspective, integrating security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
