📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cold storage, blast freezing, and refrigerated processing areas to ensure required temperature compliance at all times
• Monitor temperature data loggers and automated temperature recording systems across all cold chain zones
• Coordinate refrigerated transport, reefer vehicle pre-cooling, and temperature mapping for outbound cold chain dispatches
• Implement and monitor cold chain CCPs under the HACCP food safety plan and maintain CCP deviation logs
• Supervise cold store staff, oversee inventory management, and ensure FIFO rotation of chilled and frozen products
• Manage planned preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
• Prepare cold chain audit documentation and support third-party food safety and export compliance audits

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• What types of cold chain facilities have you managed - blast freezers, cold rooms, or chilled processing areas?
• How do you monitor and document temperature compliance across multiple cold zones in a food plant?
• Have you managed refrigeration equipment maintenance contracts and PPM schedules?
• How do you handle a cold chain temperature deviation and what corrective actions do you take?
• Are you familiar with HACCP CCP requirements for cold chain in a food safety management system?
• Have you coordinated reefer transport and pre-cooling validation for outbound cold chain shipments?
• Have you supported food export compliance or BRC audits related to cold chain control?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
