📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety walks on the food plant shopfloor and identify potential hazards including slip risks, chemical spills, and fire risks
• Manage fire safety equipment inspection, emergency exit compliance, and monthly mock drill schedules
• Deliver EHS induction training for new joiners and refresher safety training for production and maintenance staff
• Investigate near-miss incidents, occupational accidents, and unsafe condition reports and prepare root cause analysis reports
• Maintain EHS records including accident registers, safety inspection checklists, and chemical MSDS files
• Monitor chemical storage, food-grade lubricant handling, and hazardous waste disposal practices in compliance with statutory requirements
• Support annual factory safety audit, FSSAI regulatory inspection, and insurance safety assessment preparations

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you conducted safety inspections and hazard identification on a food or FMCG plant floor?
• Are you familiar with factory safety compliance requirements under the Factories Act in Tamil Nadu?
• Have you managed fire safety equipment inspections and emergency evacuation drills?
• Have you investigated a workplace accident or near-miss and prepared an incident report?
• What GMP or food plant specific safety standards are you aware of?
• Have you delivered safety induction training to production workers?
• Are you familiar with chemical MSDS management and hazardous waste disposal compliance?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
