📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and record temperatures across all cold storage chambers and blast freezer zones at defined intervals using manual or digital thermometers
• Receive incoming chilled or frozen goods into the cold store, verify quantities, and assign appropriate bin locations as per FIFO
• Ensure all cold store staff follow proper PPE protocols including cold suits, gloves, and safety boots before entering cold zones
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness inside cold rooms, ante-rooms, and blast freezer chambers as per food safety housekeeping schedules
• Monitor defrost cycles on refrigeration equipment and report any temperature deviation or equipment abnormality to the technician
• Assist in outbound picking of chilled and frozen products as per dispatch orders and ensure correct quantity and cold chain compliance
• Record all cold store entries, exits, and goods movement activities in the cold store register or WMS

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you worked inside a cold storage facility or walk-in cold room in any previous role?
• Are you comfortable working in temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius or below minus 18 degrees Celsius for extended periods?
• Have you maintained temperature logs for cold chambers on a daily basis?
• Are you familiar with FIFO rotation of goods inside a cold store?
• Have you followed cold PPE requirements such as cold suits and insulated gloves in a cold room?
• Have you monitored defrost cycles or reported refrigeration equipment issues in a cold store?
• Have you received incoming frozen or chilled goods and recorded them in a register or system?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
