📌 Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain ICC output profiles for offset, flexo, and digital print devices
• Calibrate presses and proofing devices using spectrophotometer measurements and G7 or ISO 12647-2 methodology
• Manage soft-proof workflows to ensure screen-to-print colour alignment for client approvals
• Build substrate-specific colour profiles for coated, uncoated, kraft, and BOPP materials
• Analyse delta-E values from press measurements and advise operators on colour correction actions
• Maintain a library of approved press fingerprints, profiles, and characterisation data
• Train press operators and prepress staff on colour management procedures and tolerance limits

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Explain how you would create and validate an ICC output profile for an offset press
• What is G7 methodology and how does it differ from standard press fingerprinting?
• How do you manage colour consistency between a digital proof and an offset print on coated stock?
• Describe how substrate OBA (optical brightening agents) affects spectrophotometer readings
• What delta-E tolerance limits do you apply for packaging print colour approval?
• How do you handle a press that cannot hit a Pantone spot colour within tolerance using CMYK?
• Explain colour space conversion from sRGB customer artwork to a CMYK press profile
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
