📌 Key Responsibilities
- Operate single facer and double backer units to produce single and double wall corrugated board
- Monitor and adjust steam pressure, temperature, and glue application settings throughout the run
- Change kraft liner and fluting medium reels without stopping the corrugator where possible
- Check board ECT, burst factor, and moisture content at regular intervals using shop-floor instruments
- Identify and correct board warp, delamination, and glue starve defects in real time
- Record corrugated board output, ream changes, waste, and downtime in shift logs
- Carry out end-of-shift cleaning of glue units and corrugating rolls
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Describe the corrugation process from reels to finished corrugated board
- What causes board warp and how do you correct it on the corrugator?
- How do you control glue penetration to meet BIS ECT and burst requirements?
- What is the difference between B, C, E, and BC double wall flute profiles?
- How do you perform a safe reel change on a single facer under production conditions?
- What instruments do you use to check corrugated board quality on the shop floor?
- Describe a time you prevented a major corrugator jam and how you resolved it
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Diploma or B.E. in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or Mechanical Engineering; BIS packaging standard knowledge (IS 1476 for corrugated boards); ISO 9001 internal auditor; Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for prepress; Esko ArtPro or Preps for packaging prepress; FSSAI packaging material compliance for food-grade; CTP (Computer-to-Plate) operation; flexo, gravure, or offset press operator skill; EHS and factory act for safety roles
