📌 Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational strategy and transformation programs including digitisation, process automation, and customer experience improvements.
• Oversee technology infrastructure and core banking system stability across the bank's entire branch network.
• Ensure operational risk frameworks are robust and that all functions comply with RBI operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with business heads for alignment of operational capabilities with revenue and customer acquisition goals.
• Present operational performance, risk metrics, and transformation progress to the board and senior management committee.
• Manage relationships with core banking vendors, technology partners, and outsourced operations service providers.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a premier institution or Chartered Accountant with significant banking operations leadership experience.
• Twenty to thirty years of banking experience with at least five years as COO or Head of Operations at a bank.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale banking operations transformation and technology adoption programs.
• Deep understanding of digital banking, payments infrastructure, and fintech partnership models.
• Strong risk management orientation with experience building and operating operational risk frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills for engaging the board, regulators, technology vendors, and business heads.
• Experience managing multi-location banking operations across hundreds of branches and back-office centres.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
