📌 Key Responsibilities

• Enter alphanumeric data including customer records, financial transactions, and form details into computer systems with high accuracy.
• Verify entered data against source documents to identify and correct errors before submitting batches for quality review.
• Maintain daily productivity targets measured in number of records entered and accuracy percentage as per process benchmarks.
• Organise and file digital or physical source documents systematically to ensure easy retrieval for audit or verification purposes.
• Generate daily data entry status reports in MS Excel and submit to the team leader at the end of each shift.
• Follow data confidentiality policies strictly while handling sensitive customer information, financial data, or medical records.
• Coordinate with quality checking teams to understand error patterns and implement corrections to improve overall accuracy rates.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline; candidates with a background in commerce or data administration are preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute for alphanumeric data entry; higher speeds significantly improve selection prospects.
• High accuracy rate of 95 percent or above during data entry tasks; speed combined with accuracy is the key selection criterion.
• Proficiency in MS Excel including basic data formatting, sorting, filtering, and formula usage for daily reporting tasks.
• Strong numerical aptitude for accurate entry of financial, statistical, or coded data without transcription errors.
• Willingness to work in repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended hours while maintaining consistent accuracy and focus.
• Prior experience in data entry in any industry such as banking, healthcare, retail, or BPO operations is an advantage.
