📌 Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large product and business datasets to uncover actionable insights that drive product decisions and business strategy.
• Build and evaluate statistical models and machine learning algorithms for prediction, classification, segmentation, and anomaly detection use cases.
• Design and analyse A/B tests and multivariate experiments to measure the causal impact of product changes on key metrics.
• Develop data visualisation dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Python plotting libraries to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define measurable product success metrics and monitoring frameworks.
• Apply NLP and text analytics techniques to extract insights from unstructured product feedback, support tickets, or user-generated content.
• Present analytical findings, model outputs, and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical peers and senior business leaders.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in CS/IT or M.Sc. in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with two to seven years of data science experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python for data analysis using Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and statistical libraries.
• Strong grounding in statistics including probability theory, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and Bayesian methods.
• Hands-on experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and the ability to select appropriate models for business problems.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying complex relational databases and performing data extraction and aggregation.
• Experience designing, running, and analysing A/B tests including statistical significance testing and power analysis.
• Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
