📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate jet dyeing or soft flow dyeing machines for fabric and yarn dyeing as per the batch dyeing programme
• Prepare dye bath by dispensing dyes, auxiliaries, and chemicals as per the dyeing recipe and batch instruction card
• Monitor dyeing process parameters including temperature, pH, liquor ratio, and programme step progression during each batch
• Load fabric or yarn into the dyeing machine at the start of each batch and unload after the dyeing and after-treatment cycle
• Conduct visual shade checks against the approved lab dip or customer standard after dyeing and report deviations to the shift chemist
• Maintain machine and dye house cleanliness by flushing and cleaning machines between batches as per the cleaning procedure
• Follow chemical safety procedures for handling dyes, acids, alkalis, and auxiliaries and use prescribed PPE at all times
