📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all fleet vehicles in real time using GPS tracking platform and flag exceptions such as over-speeding, route deviation, and harsh braking
• Track driver performance indicators including speed compliance, idle time, and trip adherence
• Coordinate vehicle defect reporting, repair scheduling, and return-to-road clearance with the workshop team
• Monitor and control fuel consumption per vehicle and investigate high-consumption outliers
• Manage tyre rotation, replacement schedule, and battery maintenance for the fleet
• Maintain fleet utilisation reports and highlight underutilised or idle vehicles to operations management
• Brief drivers on daily performance feedback and escalate repeat violations to HR
• Coordinate with insurance, RTO, and compliance team for vehicle document renewals

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you monitored a commercial vehicle fleet using a GPS tracking platform?
• Do you have experience tracking driver performance metrics such as speed compliance and idle time?
• Can you coordinate vehicle defect management and workshop repair scheduling?
• Are you familiar with fuel consumption analysis and identifying fuel efficiency outliers?
• Do you have experience managing tyre rotation and replacement schedules for a fleet?
• Can you prepare daily fleet utilisation reports and present findings to operations management?
• Have you handled driver discipline and compliance briefings based on GPS data analysis?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV) for truck and bus driver roles; Light Vehicle Driving Licence (LMV) for car and van driver roles; badge (permit card) from RTO for commercial vehicle drivers; knowledge of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR for transport coordinator roles; Diploma or Graduate for operations and coordinator roles; GPS fleet tracking software familiarity for fleet supervisor roles; knowledge of e-way bill and lorry receipt documentation for dispatch roles; Graduate or MBA for transport manager and operations head roles
