📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full business operations of the transport division including fleet, operations, sales, accounts, and compliance functions
• Own the multi-contract transport P and L including revenue targets, cost control, and EBITDA contribution
• Drive new business development by acquiring new corporate, industrial, and logistics clients
• Manage senior relationships with key clients and resolve contract-level escalations
• Define fleet expansion, technology adoption, and operational improvement strategy for the transport division
• Lead recruitment, retention, and development of the operations, fleet, and management team
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met across the fleet and transport operations
• Present monthly transport business performance to the MD or board and recommend strategic actions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you led a full transport or fleet company division with P and L accountability?
• Do you have experience owning revenue and cost targets for a multi-contract transport business?
• Have you driven new client acquisition and contract growth in the private transport sector?
• Do you have experience managing senior client relationships and contract-level escalations?
• Have you defined fleet expansion or transport operations improvement strategies?
• Have you recruited and developed a team spanning operations, fleet management, and accounts functions?
• Do you have experience presenting transport business performance to MD or board level?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV) for truck and bus driver roles; Light Vehicle Driving Licence (LMV) for car and van driver roles; badge (permit card) from RTO for commercial vehicle drivers; knowledge of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR for transport coordinator roles; Diploma or Graduate for operations and coordinator roles; GPS fleet tracking software familiarity for fleet supervisor roles; knowledge of e-way bill and lorry receipt documentation for dispatch roles; Graduate or MBA for transport manager and operations head roles
