📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Forex Dealer / Forex Executive positions in Coimbatore's private Private Bank sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Process foreign currency transactions including buying and selling of foreign exchange for retail and corporate customers.
• Issue travel cards, foreign currency notes, and forex demand drafts for customers travelling abroad.
• Process inward and outward remittances through SWIFT and handle purpose coding as per FEMA guidelines.
• Maintain daily forex rate boards and update buying and selling rates as per bank treasury instructions.
• Ensure all forex transactions are within approved FEMA guidelines and RBI AD Category II norms.
• Handle documentation for import remittances including A1 and A2 forms and foreign trade purpose codes.
• Reconcile daily forex transaction registers and submit regulatory reports to the bank's forex control unit.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or Economics from a recognised university.
• One to five years of experience in forex operations at an AD Category I or Category II bank or money changer.
• Strong knowledge of FEMA regulations, purpose codes, and RBI forex transaction reporting norms.
• Familiarity with forex rate mechanisms, currency pair quotes, and bank spread structures.
• Experience in processing inward and outward remittances through SWIFT or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of forex instruments including travel cards, foreign currency drafts, and travellers cheques.
• FEDAI (Foreign Exchange Dealers Association of India) training or certification is an advantage.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
