📌 Key Responsibilities

• Generate GST-compliant invoices for gold, diamond, and silver jewellery purchases with correct purity and weight details
• Operate POS billing systems and process payments through cash, card, cheque, and digital wallet modes
• Calculate making charges, wastage, and applicable discounts accurately for each billing transaction
• Process old gold exchange transactions and record deduction values accurately in the billing system
• Issue delivery notes, warranty cards, and hallmark certificates alongside purchase invoices
• Reconcile daily billing totals with cash collected and digital payment settlements at shift end
• Handle customer queries on invoice details, GST breakdown, and payment receipts at the billing counter

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or any discipline from a recognised university
• Familiarity with GST invoicing applicable to gold and jewellery transactions
• Basic understanding of gold weight units including grams and making charge calculation
• Proficiency in POS billing software or willingness to undergo in-house billing system training
• Accuracy and attention to detail to prevent billing errors in high-value jewellery transactions
• Good numerical skills for quick calculation of discounts, exchange deductions, and total amounts
• Freshers with commerce background and strong numeracy are eligible to apply
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Graduate or 12th pass for retail sales and customer service roles; BHM or Diploma in Retail Management for showroom operations; GIA Graduate Gemologist or GIA Diamonds certificate for diamond grading roles; Hallmarking awareness and BIS guidelines for quality and assurance roles; Tally for accounts roles in jewellery business; ITI Goldsmithing trade certificate for karigar/goldsmith roles; knowledge of 22-karat, 18-karat, and 916 hallmark standards for all floor staff; familiarity with TN VAT, GST on gold, and making charges for billing roles
