📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage the grocery section including dry goods, packaged foods, spices, and staples
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, properly labelled, and priced at all times
• Conduct daily expiry date checks and remove near-expiry products per store policy
• Coordinate with inventory team to raise replenishment requests for fast-moving items
• Monitor grocery department shrinkage and report discrepancies to the department head
• Guide customers on product selection, variants, and pricing within the grocery section
• Support the department head in periodic stock audits and departmental sales reviews

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 10th or 12th pass from a recognised board
• Working knowledge of grocery product categories including staples, packaged foods, and FMCG
• Familiarity with FIFO stock rotation and expiry date management practices
• Basic numerical skills for inventory tracking and sales reporting support
• Good communication skills in Tamil with basic English reading ability
• Willingness to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Prior experience in a grocery store or FMCG distribution role is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
