📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial physiotherapy assessments at home to evaluate mobility, strength, balance, and pain levels
• Design and implement individualised home physiotherapy programmes for post-surgical, neurological, and orthopaedic patients
• Deliver stroke rehabilitation exercises, gait training, and balance therapy during home sessions
• Provide respiratory physiotherapy including breathing exercises and postural drainage for COPD and post-surgical patients
• Guide patients and family members in using mobility aids such as walkers, crutches, and wheelchairs safely
• Apply electrotherapy techniques including TENS and ultrasound where portable equipment is available
• Review and progress the home exercise programme at each visit based on patient improvement
• Document session notes, functional outcomes, and progress reports and share with the care coordinator

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you hold a BPT degree from a recognised physiotherapy college?
• Have you conducted home physiotherapy sessions independently for post-surgical or stroke patients?
• Are you trained in stroke rehabilitation, gait training, and balance therapy techniques?
• Can you design and progress home exercise programmes for patients with varying mobility levels?
• Do you have experience with respiratory physiotherapy including breathing exercises and postural drainage?
• Are you comfortable carrying portable physiotherapy equipment for home visits across Coimbatore?
• Can you communicate exercise instructions clearly to patients and their family caregivers?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

GNM or B.Sc.
