📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise room attendants and housekeeping staff on assigned floors to ensure rooms are cleaned to hotel standards.
• Inspect occupied, vacant, and check-out rooms to verify cleanliness and report discrepancies for re-servicing.
• Prepare daily housekeeping assignment sheets and allocate rooms to attendants based on occupancy.
• Monitor linen, guest supplies, and cleaning chemical inventories to maintain adequate par stock on floors.
• Resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Train new room attendants on standard operating procedures, chemical handling, and guest room service protocols.
• Coordinate with front office on room status updates, late checkouts, early arrivals, and VIP room preparations.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 12th pass; Diploma in Hotel Management from an IHM-affiliated or recognised institute preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior attendant role.
• Knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, room inspection techniques, and linen management procedures.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of room attendants on a busy hotel floor.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) for room status updates is an added advantage.
• Good verbal communication skills in Tamil and basic English for guest interaction and management reporting.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per hotel operational requirements.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
