📌 Key Responsibilities

• Forecast demand at the SKU level using historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and campaign calendars to plan optimal inventory levels
• Calculate reorder points and safety stock levels for each SKU to prevent stockouts and avoid excess inventory build-up
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to place and track purchase orders aligned with demand forecasts
• Monitor inventory turnover ratios, ageing stock reports, and dead stock levels and recommend markdown or liquidation actions
• Align inventory plans with marketing and promotions team to ensure sufficient stock for planned sale events and campaigns
• Track fulfilment rates, stockout incidents, and overstock situations weekly and report to operations leadership
• Build and maintain SKU-level planning models in Excel or Google Sheets for ongoing demand and supply visibility

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or MBA degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or related field from a recognized institution
• 1 - 4 Years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain operations in an e-commerce or retail environment
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for building demand models, SKU trackers, and reorder planning tools
• Understanding of inventory management concepts including EOQ, safety stock, lead time, and ABC classification
• Ability to analyze historical sales data and identify trends, seasonality, and anomalies for planning purposes
• Good coordination skills for working with suppliers, procurement, and warehouse teams to align supply with demand
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools used in e-commerce fulfilment environments
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
