📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for IoT devices using BLE, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN connectivity stacks
• Implement MQTT or CoAP client firmware for cloud connectivity
• Integrate TLS/DTLS security for secure device-to-cloud communication
• Implement OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update mechanisms on embedded devices
• Write power management firmware to maximise battery life on wireless sensor nodes
• Test RF performance and connectivity reliability in lab and field conditions
• Debug connectivity issues using Wireshark and protocol analyser tools

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you written BLE GATT service and characteristic code on Nordic nRF5 or ESP32?
• How do you implement a reliable MQTT reconnection strategy on a resource-limited MCU?
• Describe your approach to securing MQTT communication on a microcontroller using TLS.
• How do you implement OTA firmware updates with rollback protection on ESP32 or nRF52?
• What techniques do you use to minimise current consumption during BLE advertising?
• Have you worked with AWS IoT Core or Azure IoT Hub device SDKs?
• How do you test BLE connectivity and signal strength in a lab environment?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E./B.Tech. ECE or EEE for hardware and embedded engineer roles; B.E. CSE/ECE with embedded C/C++ for firmware roles; Arm Cortex-M programming certification; AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) training for automotive embedded roles; IEC 62443 for industrial IoT security; Xilinx/Intel FPGA certification for FPGA roles; VLSI design certification (Cadence, Synopsys) for chip design roles; CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C protocol knowledge; FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS experience
