📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for POS billing terminals, barcode scanners, and checkout hardware
• Troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues affecting store operations
• Coordinate with ERP vendors for software issues and manage escalation to second-level support
• Maintain and service store CCTV systems, printers, and peripheral devices
• Manage IT helpdesk tickets and ensure resolution within defined SLA timelines
• Coordinate software updates, patches, and system upgrades with minimum store disruption
• Train store staff on basic IT system usage and maintain IT asset registers for the store

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics; or BCA from a recognised institution
• One to three years of IT support experience preferably in a retail or high-footfall environment
• Hands-on experience with POS system troubleshooting and retail ERP first-level support
• Strong knowledge of networking, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with hardware maintenance including desktops, printers, scanners, and peripherals
• Ability to work flexible hours to provide IT support during store opening and closing
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking qualification is an advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
