📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery inventory
• Verify jewellery weight, tag numbers, and barcodes against stock ledger and system records
• Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock counts and system inventory records
• Maintain accurate stock audit registers and reconciliation statements for management review
• Track slow-moving, old, or unsold jewellery designs and prepare ageing reports for management
• Conduct surprise stock checks on high-value jewellery sections and prepare detailed audit reports
• Coordinate with the purchase, billing, and store teams to resolve identified inventory discrepancies

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or any discipline from a recognised university
• Zero to three years of stock audit or inventory verification experience
• Basic understanding of gold weight units and jewellery tagging systems
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for high-value jewellery stock reconciliation
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP software for stock count entries and reconciliation
• Integrity and reliability essential for handling high-value jewellery inventory audits
• Tally or basic accounts knowledge is an advantage for reconciliation report preparation
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Graduate or 12th pass for retail sales and customer service roles; BHM or Diploma in Retail Management for showroom operations; GIA Graduate Gemologist or GIA Diamonds certificate for diamond grading roles; Hallmarking awareness and BIS guidelines for quality and assurance roles; Tally for accounts roles in jewellery business; ITI Goldsmithing trade certificate for karigar/goldsmith roles; knowledge of 22-karat, 18-karat, and 916 hallmark standards for all floor staff; familiarity with TN VAT, GST on gold, and making charges for billing roles
