📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach diploma-level Civil Engineering subjects including Surveying, Strength of Materials, RCC Design, Building Materials, Soil Mechanics, Construction Management, and Estimation
• Conduct lab sessions for Survey Lab, Material Testing Lab, and Civil Drawing practicals
• Prepare lesson plans, question banks, and internal assessment papers aligned with DOTE and SBTET Civil diploma syllabus
• Guide students during survey camp and field practical activities
• Assist students in final-year diploma project work related to structural design, soil investigation, or construction planning
• Maintain course files, attendance records, and internal marks as per DOTE requirements
• Participate in faculty development programmes for Civil diploma lecturers

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with 2 years industry or teaching experience, or B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering meeting DOTE lecturer eligibility
• 0 - 5 Years of polytechnic teaching or civil construction/site experience
• Strong knowledge of core Civil Engineering diploma subjects: Surveying, RCC Design, Soil Mechanics, and Building Materials
• Practical skills in surveying instruments (theodolite, level, total station) for survey lab instruction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for civil drawing lab and project support
• Good communication skills for classroom teaching in Tamil and English
• Willingness to lead or accompany students on survey camp and site visit activities
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
